CABC has been building light steel frame homes in the southern suburbs of Cape Town for thirteen years, on the back of nearly two decades of broader construction experience through prior companies.
Before founding the business, our founder spent ten years working in the U.S. building industry - where the standards for framing, drywall partitioning and interior finishing are higher, and the methods are different. He brought that knowledge home and built a South African company around it: Zincalume LSF instead of standard galvanised, American-style drywall instead of rough plaster, and a small in-house team trained to deliver both.
We chose Zincalume early on because the standard galvanised steel most LSF builders rely on doesn't hold up the way it should - especially this close to the coast. We chose American-style drywall finishing because it produces walls that look the way good walls should look, not the rough plaster shortcut that has become normal locally. And we built the team around it: six specialists trained up in-house, so the same people see a project from first frame to final skim.
Because LSF goes up faster than masonry and our team isn't shuffled between sites, we don't drag projects - and we don't charge as if we did. We value your time as much as our own, and that shows up in the price.
